I started questioning myself in the process and realized even I,myself don't know me or try to know me that well. I was so used to waiting for someone to find out about me when I don't even acknowledge these little pieces of me. So thank you for putting these questions šš
this is amazing and completely agree!! just to admire a person by their history, regardless of how great, tragic, or interesting we can find something to learn or attach from that person. just beautiful to know someone even if itās not someone we necessarily love
I love this so much as someone who feels the exact same way. Iāve been meeting a lot of new people in my life lately and questions of āwhat are good questions to ask to get to know someone?ā has been on my mind consistently so the fact that youāve answered my exact question having used your personal experience of the same passion is a little gift for me!
today, i walked to the park that is just shy of 15 minutes away from my dorm. i called one of my best friends (who i hadn't gotten the chance to reconnect with for months) and we talked for 3 hours about life, love, and all of the itty bitty things that lie in its intersection. having a deep conversation with her as i soaked up the sun and sunk into the grass underneath the shade of the tree above me was so incredibly healing <3 i love this article! thank you for sharing!
i completely relate to this and adore the considerate and kind way that you even shared these personal and impactful questions! it reflects your kind heart and soul to share these beautiful opportunities to connect deeply with others and iāll be using them!! thank you and bless you!! x
asked these with a newer friend and I think we both learned so much about ourselves and each other! was honestly one of the best conversations Iāve been able to have with someone in so long, thank you!! :)
